A bit about me...
I grew up in a family that moved often around the US and abroad – eleven different homes in my first eighteen years. My father was an avid photographer who recorded our travels, adventures and everyday lives on film. I'm deeply grateful to him for those visual memories, the precious evidence of my nomadic and fascinating childhood - and for inspiring my love for photography.
My career began working for newspapers in Boulder, Colorado back in the days of film, shooting different assignments every day. After all these years, photography continues to introduce me to an amazing array of fascinating people and places. Lucky me, indeed! I really do love my work.
I've called the glorious Pacific Northwest home since 1990, where I love sharing time with family and friends and playing outside in nature. I'm a gardener of flowers and food, mother of two incredible adult children, a practitioner of meditation and yoga, a volunteer in my community.
